"Gen Z(eroed)", "Dissociation", and "Writer's Block"

Gen Z(erod)

Our oranges and blacks

won’t stop their bullets.

Our silence

won’t stop their silencers.

Our “not again”s

aren’t without their “thoughts and prayers”.

Our fears

aren’t above their deadly weapon’s industry.

Dissociation

My mind’s eyes

turns to the skies.

My soul’s clocking out,

train of thought breaking route.

Blinking and breathing are now optional,

But questioning everything is now operational.

I know I need to focus and do work,

but now nothing can work.

This coping allies

my mind’s eyes.

Writer’s Block

Can’t.

Don’t.

Won’t.

Write.

This empty page

is a shameful sight.

Can’t.

Don’t.

Won’t.

Think.

My long-gone idea

was my only shrink.
