Never quite blue,
I hang a shade of gray,
Til the moon comes up to play.
Never quite black,
I’m the navy backdrop for the stars newest dance,
At least until the sun comes up to prance.
When I frolic at sunset,
When I sing at dawn,
My more dramatic colors are what I put on.
