The Poetry Society of Virginia and the 2009 Student Contest Committee would like to thank the judges who participated in this event, and everyone who has contributed help, advice and encouragement throughout this year’s contest. We appreciate all your time, energy and the encouragement that you give to the students who entered the contest. We especially acknowledge all those teachers who have inspired their students to write and submit their work to the contest.
