The Preacher Said... I. I saw two things last week: People willing to die, to kill others because they hated; And then People willing to die, to save others because they loved. It is wonderful to know that the latter still exist. II. I heard two things last week: People praying to GOD for deliverance; And then the same people declaring just how they plan to deliver themselves, deaf to anything GOD might be trying to say. III. ----you can pull people from the debris but you haven't saved them, only prolonged their lives. Unless we repent we too will perish. Cease trusting in man, that he can change things in this earth, and trust in GOD. IV. ----frustration comes when we try to deliver ourselves from things that only GOD can deliver us from. There is no hope in man to deliver, but GOD so loved the world that whoever believes in Jesus might not perish. |
