Class of 2025: Engineering Student Finds Community at ODU
Former Young Poet in the Community, Marjorie Cenese, has been awarded with the J. Harold Lampe Award for Overall Excellence in Engineering by the Batten College of Engineering and Technology at Old Domino University.
Cenese was the Hampton Roads Youth Poet Laureate Ambassador in addition to serving as a Young Poet in the Community in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. She was mentored by many members of the Poetry Society of Virginia as both a YPIC and poetry ambassador.
