Janice Trich Hoffman died on October 28th, 2025. She received a Master’s of Education at Indiana University and was a college Professor of teaching composition and writing. She was a longtime member of The Poetry Society of Virginia, and a member of several local Williamsburg poetry groups, including the Williamsburg Poetry Guild and Calliope. Her books include: Soul Cookies (2019), Four Fairy Friends (2019), Cuatro Amigas Hadas ( 2020), Writing with COLOR! (2020), and Azaleas in October (2021), and Four Fairy Friends Celebrate Christmas (2021), all published by High Tide Publications. She wrote in a variety of poetic styles, and was known for her kind and gentle spirit. We will miss her.
