The Poetry Society of Society proudly holds several annual contests for members and non-members, adults and students, alike. These include the Annual Poetry Society of Virginia Adult Contests, the Annual Poetry of Society of Virginia Student Contest, and the North American Poetry Book Award.
Annual Poetry Society of Virginia Adult Contest
The Annual Poetry Society of Virginia Adult Contest boasts twenty-five categories across a wide diversity of subject and styles, including “Spoken Word” as of 2023. First, second, and third placements in each category will be awarded a monetary prize and publication in the PSV contest anthology. These prized have been endowed by PSV or generous members of the PSV community. We are grateful for their support.
