Kidz Club

Running down the dunes,

my cousins by my side,

I could not have been happier.

The secret hideout,

Under our old tan house.

Where my sister was queen,

And we all her followers,

But we didn’t mind.

Sunny or storming,

We were always there.

It was ours,

No parents allowed.

Just us and the spiders,

So many spiders.

But we didn’t mind.

Scribbling our names in marker

On the side of the house,

All of us engraved there, permanently.
