
Ann Chinnis has released a full length poetry collection, Love Song: Port & Starboard (Kelsay Books).
About the Collection: Ann Chinnis is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize (2025), two Best of the Net nominations, and a second-place Edgar Allan Poe Prize from the Poetry Society of Virginia. She authored two previous poetry chapbooks—Poppet, My Poppet, and I Can Catch Anything. Her work is published in Sky Island Journal, River Heron Review, Gyroscope, Crab Creek Review, and The Orchards Poetry Journal, among others. She studies at the Writers Studio with Philip Schultz. Ann is a retired Emergency Physician and a leadership coach, and she lives with her wife in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
